Enhancing user retention on Dream11

The challenge is:

You are the product manager for Dream11, India's largest fantasy sports platform. While looking at the data of the last 6 months, you notice a pattern of users signing up and participating in one or two contests, then abandoning the platform. How would you adjust the game mechanics, tutorial system, and rewards among other things to enhance user retention over a longer term?
