Role Overview

We're looking for an execution-focused Associate Product Manager (APM) with 3–5 years of experience to help build products that solve real customer problems and create measurable business impact.

As an APM, you'll work closely with Product Leadership, Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and Support teams to own product features from discovery through launch. You'll translate customer insights into scalable product solutions, drive product execution, and continuously improve user experience through data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities


Product Discovery & Customer Research


  • Understand customer pain points through customer interviews, support tickets, sales feedback, product analytics, and market research.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and identify opportunities to improve the product.
  • Translate customer and business requirements into actionable product features.
  • Validate product ideas using customer feedback and data.


Product Planning & Execution


  • Own assigned product features and modules from discovery through successful launch.
  • Write detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, release notes, and product documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI Designers to create intuitive, scalable, and customer-centric experiences.
  • Work with Engineering teams throughout sprint planning, backlog grooming, development, QA, and release cycles.
  • Prioritize features, bug fixes, and product enhancements based on customer impact, business value, and engineering effort.
  • Ensure timely delivery of product initiatives while maintaining quality.


Product Analytics


  • Track and analyze key product metrics including activation, adoption, engagement, retention, funnel conversion, feature usage, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify user behavior patterns, friction points, and opportunities for product improvements.
  • Measure post-launch success and continuously iterate based on customer feedback and product performance.


Cross-Functional Collaboration


  • Partner with Engineering, Design, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Support teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Support product launches by preparing release notes, product documentation, FAQs, and internal enablement materials.
  • Ensure smooth communication and alignment across all stakeholders.


Product Quality


  • Participate in feature validation, QA, usability testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Ensure product quality, usability, and customer experience meet high standards.
  • Identify edge cases and continuously improve existing product workflows.


Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Operations, Business Analysis, or Technical Product roles within a software product company.
  • Experience owning product features from requirement gathering through launch.
  • Strong experience writing PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and functional documentation.
  • Good understanding of SaaS products, APIs, webhooks, integrations, customer journeys, and software development lifecycles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Notion, Figma, Confluence, Linear, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with product analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA4, Metabase, or equivalent platforms.
  • Basic understanding of APIs, databases, integrations, and system architecture.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable working in a high-growth startup environment.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience building B2B SaaS, MarTech, CRM, Customer Engagement, AI, Automation, or Messaging Platform products.
  • Exposure to WhatsApp Business API, Chatbots, Conversational AI, Marketing Automation, or Workflow Automation platforms.
  • Basic SQL knowledge and experience working with product data.
  • Experience working directly with customers to gather product insights and validate solutions.
