Job Description


Nielsen ONE focuses on the measurement of ads and their outcomes, and empowers advertisers, publishers and agencies with the intelligence they need to drive revenue, increase market share, and optimize their audiences and investments.


We are seeking a Lead Product Manager to drive the future of our Nielsen ONE Reporting product vision. In this role, you will be responsible for the Reporting or delivery of results to clients via end user interfaces like dashboards, APIs, and AI integrations for our Ads and Outcomes product suite. You will lead a team of product managers and define the product strategy and roadmap for your pillar and be responsible for defining broad technical product standards and integration frameworks for Dashboard, API, and AI capabilities, keeping Nielsen at the forefront of ad-tech innovation.


You will be looked towards as a Nielsen expert who proactively anticipates business challenges and regulatory adjustments (such as cookie deprecation or clean room compliance) to design flexible, future-proof reporting architectures that are AI first.


What You’ll Do / Responsibilities


Product Strategy & Innovation:


  • Define and own the product vision and roadmap for our Nielsen ONE Reporting strategy, aligning it with business goals and market opportunities.
  • Heavily involved in the definition of and delivery against OKRs for the Reporting pillar, securing strategic alignment with senior leadership and cross-team functions.
  • Able to prioritize initiative/feature level roadmaps for entire products/product suites and champion prioritization best practices throughout the organization.
  • Maintain an active line of sight for critical dependent reporting workflows needed 1–2 years out, translating the corporate strategic vision into a phased, iterative product roadmap.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on our Dashboard, API, and AI Reporting integrations.
  • Stay on top of industry trends, competitor movements, and emerging technologies to inform our product decisions


Execution Leadership


  • From ideation and discovery to feature definition, development, and GTM launch, you will manage the entire product lifecycle.
  • Pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, often acting as the bridge between senior management and operational teams.
  • Advocate for scalable solution design that supports end user needs and use cases.
  • Mentor, guide, and foster an environment of critical thinking for junior-to-mid-level product managers, empowering them to drive complex initiatives independently.
  • Establish high-quality requirement-writing blueprints and best practices for the product organization, empowering mid-level PMs to own independent feature delivery.
  • Use data and qualitative feedback to measure product performance and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Proactively evaluate technical and cross-project dependencies, calculating risk impacts and instituting concrete mitigation frameworks to safe-guard product deliveries through General Availability (GA).
  • Effectively communicate clear, high-stakes narratives regarding reporting vision, priorities, and trade-offs to senior leadership (VP/SVP track) and key client executives.


Qualifications


  • 12–15+ years in product management (or 15–20 years of total relevant industry experience), with an established track record of launching top-tier enterprise SaaS capabilities in the ad-tech or media ecosystem
  • A top-tier expertise of the ad measurement ecosystem, including end user interfaces (AI dashboards) , APIs, and AI integrations
  • A proven track record of successfully launching and scaling complex products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expert communicator, both written & verbal, across levels & functions, with the ability to clearly articulate vision & priorities so stakeholders know what, why, & when.
  • A strategic thinker who assesses risk, both likelihood and impact, in order to account for potential positive and negative outcomes with mitigation steps.
  • High-level problem-solving abilities, drawing assumptions where necessary and anticipating business challenges and regulatory issues.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree or specialized ad-tech/product management certifications preferred.
