This role will provide the candidate an opportunity to work within an Agile Product Delivery team and help shape and develop critical features that form part of our new Commercial Risk Solutions Ecosystem. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog, for both the Commercial Risk Solutions Ecosystem program of work and the existing application Run activity
- Work with the Business Analysis on creating the required user stories and ensuring they are clearly defined, well understood and properly estimated.
- Being the primary point of contact for all stakeholders for all activities related to the product
- Attending the Agile ceremonies to support developers, testers and other engineering roles as they deliver on features within their respective sprints.
- Work with the Application Maintenance Support team in ensuring any incidents are quickly resolved, root cause identified and then resolution prioritized.
- Work with the wider Product Delivery Team (Scrum Masters, Developers, Testers and Solution Architects).
- Ensure that the applications within the scope of the role are maintained inline with Aon standards (patching, servers, upgrades)
- Continuously monitor the performance and adoption of the product, plus gather feedback from stakeholders, to inform decisions and future enhancements.
Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success
- 5+ years experience in Product Ownership
- Strong Agile knowledge - SCRUM, Kanban, Certification highly desirable.
- Strong experience in Agile CI/CD tooling -Azure DevOps/Jira, Confluence etc.
- Experience in vendor management
