Job Title: Product Manager II

At Microsoft, we’re reimagining Windows as the best place for developers to build and grow their applications—and the Windows Platform & Developer Experience team sits at the heart of that mission.

Our work is simple in ambition but deep in impact: make developers successful on Windows. That means removing friction from the end‑to‑end app development journey, helping teams ship faster with confidence, and ensuring applications built on Windows are performant, reliable, and delightful for millions of users.

You’ll work on some of the most meaningful challenges in the Windows ecosystem - modernizing the app platform, strengthening core developer fundamentals, and enabling developers to reach users seamlessly across native, hybrid, and cross‑platform technologies. We meet developers where they already are by supporting familiar frameworks and workflows, while also unlocking experiences that are uniquely powerful on Windows through deep OS integration and differentiated capabilities.

As Windows evolves toward more intelligent, agent‑driven experiences, this team plays a critical role in shaping the platform primitives, APIs, and tooling that developers rely on. Your work will directly influence how quickly developers can innovate, how confidently they can ship, and how high the quality bar is for apps across the Windows ecosystem.

If you’re excited about building platforms at scale, empowering developers, and shaping the future of Windows, this is the team where your impact will be felt every day.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
