Prioritizes products and features by evaluating business value, feasibility, and user needs, ensuring alignment with Oracle Health goals and strategy. Engages customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to obtain market information and discover opportunities for clinical products, with a strong emphasis on Electronic Health Record (EHR) workflows and clinician experience. Contributes to identifying customer needs and market opportunities, guiding teams to develop solutions and validate them. Supports the product development and road-mapping processes for products/features, ensuring requirements and best practices are met while driving delivery excellence. Collaborates cross-functionally to drive alignment and measurable outcomes, and supports success metrics criteria and performance metrics (e.g., OKRs, KPIs) for products/features. Advocates for customers, anticipates needs, and prioritizes customer issues throughout the product lifecycle. Gathers feedback and aligns product capabilities with customers’ clinical and operational goals. Contributes to go-to-market activities, supports early adopters, and tracks product adoption metrics to optimize adoption and user satisfaction. Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution.


Minimum Job Qualifications (IC3)


Education and/or Experience (meet one):


  • 8 years of experience in product/service/project/program management, product design, or related field OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Healthcare Informatics, Clinical discipline, or related field AND 4 years of experience in product/service/project/program management, product design, or related field OR
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Healthcare Informatics, Clinical discipline, or related field AND 2 years of experience in product/service/project/program management, product design, or related field

Preferred Job Qualifications Education and/or Experience (meet one):

  • 9 years of experience in product/service/project/program management, product design, or related field OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Healthcare Informatics, Clinical discipline, or related field AND 5 years of experience in product/service/project/program management, product design, or related field OR
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Healthcare Informatics, Clinical discipline, or related field AND 3 years of experience in product/service/project/program management, product design, or related field

Product Domain Experience

  • 3 years of experience in the relevant product domain (healthcare/clinical software such as EHRs, clinical documentation, orders, results review, medication workflows, clinical decision support, interoperability)

Agile Methods Experience

  • 1 year of experience applying agile methodologies and practices (e.g., Scrum framework) to manage work and delivery

Customer Interaction Experience

  • 2 years of experience in customer interaction (e.g., clinicians, clinical informatics, hospital/health system stakeholders, implementation teams, support, or customer success)

Certification (Preferred)

  • Product management or product domain related certifications (e.g., SAFe Scrum Master Certification, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager Certification, Project Management Professional Certification, American Production and Inventory Control Society [APICS] Certifications)

Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Product Analysis – Market Analysis:

  • Prioritizes products/features based on evaluations of business value, feasibility, and user needs (internal and/or external).
  • Ensures alignment between clinical users, the healthcare market, and Oracle Health goals and strategy.
  • Analyzes market trends and the competitive landscape to maintain a competitive position.
  • Engages customers, partners, and internal teams to gather market information and identify opportunities for clinical/EHR products.

Product Analysis – Solution Identification:

  • Contributes to identifying customers’ unmet or unknown needs, market opportunities, and regulatory requirements impacting clinical workflows.
  • Partners with internal teams to define problem statements for moderately complex products and develops hypotheses for new features.
  • Drives solution discovery and refinement by collaborating with stakeholders (engineering, UX, clinical SMEs, support, implementation, compliance).
  • Supports evaluation and validation of solutions to inform decisions on enhancing products/features.
  • Creates, maintains, and reviews solution artifacts (e.g., regulatory, functional, and non-functional requirements).

Product Ownership – Product Development and Roadmapping:

  • Supports planning, execution, and release processes.
  • Contributes to roadmaps for products/features, ensuring alignment with business objectives and clinical value.
  • Develops feature requirements, dependencies, and best practices for stakeholders.
  • Helps drive delivery excellence; identifies risks/issues and escalates with options and recommendations.
  • Tracks and analyzes metrics (e.g., service requests, bugs, workflow friction, feedback) to support data-driven product decisions.
  • Writes and reviews user stories and acceptance criteria (including clinical safety/workflow considerations).
  • Helps determine feature and experience priorities to support OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).

Product Ownership – Product Leadership and Influence:

  • Contributes ideas and insights that shape product direction and roadmap decisions.
  • Guides product improvements to enhance clinician experience and achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Supports new feature development using agile and continuous-delivery methodologies.

Alignment and Collaboration:

  • Shares insights with partners and supports cross-team alignment.
  • Uses data and customer context to help manage stakeholder pushback.
  • Partners with engineering and senior teams to identify solutions linked to OKRs and KPIs.
  • Supports tracking of success criteria and performance metrics for products/features.
  • Helps establish parameters for user testing and product iteration (including clinician feedback loops).

Customer-Centricity:

  • Serves as a customer advocate throughout the product lifecycle, with emphasis on clinician and patient-safety-adjacent considerations.
  • Actively engages with customers to gather feedback and insights (e.g., discovery sessions, workflow reviews, usability sessions).
  • Works with customers to align Oracle Health products to clinical, operational, and business goals.
  • Captures and analyzes customer requirements for new product capabilities and feature designs.
  • Supports tailoring products to consumer needs during implementations (in partnership with implementation and customer success teams).
  • Reviews and helps prioritize customer issues for satisfaction and quality, coordinating resolutions with appropriate teams.

Product Release – Go-to-Market:

  • Contributes to release overviews, presentations, and demos for field teams.
  • Supports recruiting and enabling early adopters to validate solutions.
  • Contributes to the development of user documentation.
  • Defines and tracks product adoption metrics, identifying user behavior trends.
  • Supports demos to customers, partners, and field teams to promote value.
