Overview


As a Senior Product Manager on the Microsoft Edge WebView2 team, you will define and drive the platform roadmap that powers hybrid applications across the Windows and cross‑platform ecosystem. You’ll work closely with engineering, partner teams, and the developer community to deliver a secure, high‑performance, and deeply integrated web runtime that meets the evolving needs of enterprise and professional developers.

Responsibilities


  • Define and execute the WebView2 product roadmap, grounded in enterprise, ISV, and developer platform needs.
  • Partner with engineering to deliver improvements in reliability, performance, security, compatibility, and developer experience.
  • Lead technical and product alignment across partner teams to ensure seamless integration and adoption of WebView2 within Microsoft and external products.
  • Engage with the developer ecosystem—including GitHub communities, partner programs, and customer councils—to advocate for developer needs and drive product improvements.
  • Represent Microsoft in internal/external developer forums, industry conversations, and selective standards discussions; articulate platform vision and best practices.
  • Use telemetry, customer feedback, and competitive/market insights to identify gaps, shape success metrics, and iterate solutions.
  • Explore and drive AI‑driven enhancements to improve diagnostics, developer productivity, performance insights, and debugging workflows.
  • Lead cross‑team initiatives with ambiguity, driving clarity and shared outcomes across engineering, design, partner teams, and leadership.

Qualifications


Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), browser engines, or hybrid application platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive technical initiatives, influence architecture decisions, and partner effectively with engineering.
  • Solid communication, storytelling, and negotiation skills, with experience working across geographies and organizational boundaries.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • Passion for developer tools, hybrid app runtimes, or platform-level technologies.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, independently drive initiatives, and create clarity across diverse partners and scenarios.
  • Solid evangelization and presentation skills, capable of influencing both internal teams and external developer audiences.
