Job Description


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Drive vision and roadmap of Gracenote’s data delivery platform and tools that delivers millions of pieces of TV Entertainment data to clients and partners daily. This data powers the TV entertainment solutions for the top cable, OTT, CE, and digital clients worldwide used by hundreds of millions of consumers.


  • Partner and collaborate with other product, business and engineering leaders and other internal stakeholders to ensure strong execution in a fast-moving environment


  • Drive client/partner interactions to understand business problems associated with delivering and ingesting TV entertainment data into their backend solutions.


  • Mould that into a clear product vision and roadmap that delivers a world-class data delivery platform.


  • Become the SME to identify scalable solutions to deliver new products and enhance existing products that allow clients to easily integrate Gracenote metadata into their systems.


  • Translate the product roadmap into well-defined user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria for the engineering team, ensuring clarity and focus for each sprint.


  • Skillfully prioritize the product backlog, making data-informed trade-off decisions to maximize value delivery and align with strategic business goals.


  • Work closely with UX and engineering to deliver not only the platform but also the critical tools for configuration and analytics to make the platform an overall success.



Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with a product management focus or equivalent experience


  • 5+ years of Product Management experience


  • Experience working with clients and the rest of the product and business org to understand their business problems and the vision for their next-generation solutions. This includes onsite visits and giving presentations on your product direction.


  • Strong presentation and product pitch skills. Previous experience pitching clients including senior leadership at these companies.


  • Ability to methodically gather multiple potentially conflicting priorities and business problems from clients, internal stakeholders, and partners. Use these as inputs to create a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap that delivers a world-class solution.


  • Understanding of core business financials, and the impact of these on Product Lifecycle


  • Data-driven with an analytical mindset and the ability to work your way through ambiguous situations


  • Strong conceptual understanding of building scalable data platforms


  • Self-starter that can work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment across multiple time zones


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate delivery strategy, new enhancements, and best practices around data delivery to technical and non-technical audiences.


Qualifications

  • Experience in OTT, TV broadcast, or supporting customers who develop products for digital content consumption.
  • Demonstrated success in building B2B products, iterating based on customer feedback, and scaling them to global markets.
