Meet our team: The PayPal Micro Business organization seeks a dynamic and experienced engineering leader to helm a team of highly skilled and motivated full-stack software engineers. In this role, you will guide the team through all phases of development—from forming and storming to norming and performing. You will oversee daily technical execution while collaborating closely with product owners and leaders to shape one of the company’s core products.


What you need to bring to the role:


  • 2+ years of experience in software development designing and implementing scalable, fault tolerant components.
  • 1+ years of work experience developing back-end systems in Java.
  • Experience on common stacks across back-end and front-end tech stacks.
  • Experience working with coding languages—preferably JavaScript, React, Java
  • Experience working on React, Node, JavaScript, webservices/REST API, Event driven real-time systems and Batch components using Spring Framework, muti-threaded programming.
  • Strong skill in data structure and algorithm.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery, deploying in containers like Dockers.
  • Experience with unit testing/functional automation testing and tools.
  • Proven experience delivering complex software projects and solutions effectively through Agile methodologies on a regular release cadence.
  • Experience in online payments or related domain is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of data security & classification.
