Backend Engineer at RenderNet

What we’d like you to have

• 1 - 2 years of experience in developing in multiple programming languages.
• Depth in any one of them: Python, Go, Rust, Java, C++ - is good enough.
• 1+ years of professional experience shipping user facing features or products
• Experience communicating and working across multiple teams and functions: product & design.
• Some familiarity/experience with DevOps on providers like AWS/GCP.
• Solid understanding of HTTP/Websockets
• Good understanding of distributed systems/architectures and strong fundamentals in systems design and architecture.

Good to have

• Understanding/Familiarity of AI/ML programming or AI/ML devOps is a big plus.
• Loves computer hardware (servers, GPUs, networking, uptime, site connectivity)
• Experience with web frameworks on Rust, Go and Java
• Basic understanding of event driven systems
• Non Technical skills/Soft skills:
• You believe less is more, you can achieve less with more
• Communicate well: explicit is better than implicit
• You are driven and can keep up the product development with constantly changing market conditions.
• Empathy patience and readiness for a long haul game.

What you’ll do at RenderNet

• Ship features to production regularly
• Participate in design reviews, technical reviews and provide feedback
• Help maintaining/monitoring our on-premise/on-cloud infrastructure
• Deploy AI/ML inference engines and monitor their performance
