Full Stack Engineer Intern at Wysa

Roles and Responsibilities:

You will hold the beacon for development and user experience at Wysa, while helping us

scale from 5 million users to 50 million users.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Build performant and effective new features by participating in the overall application lifecycle
• Build modular, reusable, performant, and optimal features - Code, debug, troubleshoot, deliver
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality
• Continuously improve stability and performance of Wysa’s tech platform
• Be the user’s voice and help make product decisions
• Exhibit knowledge and behavior to adopt Information Security and Privacy practices at their work.
• Maintain the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of all information or assets shared and assessed by you
• Adhere to Wysa's security, privacy and compliance policies and procedures
• Knowledge about secure SDLC and privacy best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and related web technologies
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React
• Experience with back-end web development using Node.js or Python
• Familiarity with responsive design and mobile-first development
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Bonus Skills:

• Familiarity with database systems such as MongoDB
• Knowledge of RESTful API design
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Want to interact with all levels of the company including senior leaders and cross-functional teams
