Senior Software Engineer - Backend at Aurva

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize scalable programs on a Golang/C/k8s/Elastic/eBPF stack.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using industry best practices.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior engineers to ensure high code quality and adherence to standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Good to have : Utilize kernel technology to perform security monitoring and performance optimizations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products.
• Strong proficiency in Golang (or Java/C/C++)
• Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Knowledge of kernel internals, networking protocols, and system-level debugging is a big plus.
