  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience with front-end and user interface development.
  • Experience with design and development of Web Applications using front-end technologies using JavaScript/Typescript, CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, JSON and web services.


Preferred qualifications:


  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure concepts, experiment configurations and metric analysis. Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, collaborate effectively with distributed partner teams, and influence product execution milestones.
  • Graph-based back-end systems and expertise in WebGL. Experience building complex interactive and reusable server side User Interface (UI) with data visualisations, topology maps, dashboards, or charts.
  • Deep understanding of web application performance optimization. Experience working on mid-tier orchestration layers, writing GraphQL resolvers, or managing structured API schemas.

Responsibilities


  • Write product or system development code.
  • Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
  • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
  • Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
