Technical Lead - Backend at Monk Commerce

Responsibilities:

We’re looking for someone who

• can lead a small team of software engineers (2-3), providing technical guidance, mentorship, and foster a collaborative and innovative work environment
• can design, architect, and develop robust and scalable backend solutions using Go as a server side language and MySQL as the database
• can set up best practices/guidelines and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainability and adherence to those guidelines
• has 2 to 4 years of work experience
• has worked with REST APIs and Event driven systems
• currently does not see themselves working for large scale corporates & wishes to stay away from the politics that comes with it
• keen on remote-only roles
